NAPPI 1911, a historic Italian producer of ingredients and semi-finished products for the confectionery industry, ice cream and pastry shops, is looking for an expert Key Account Manager to join the sales team for the confectionery industry.
PROFILE
⮞ Consolidated and proven experience – 8 to 10 years – handling technical-commercial relationships with key industrial customers in the food industry
⮞ Degree in business administration or economics or food technology
⮞ Age: around 35 years.
⮞ English fluent and, preferably, a second foreign language
ACQUIRED SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
⮞ Ability to negotiate and develop relationships with key customers
⮞ Ability to identify and CREATE business VENTURES through new customers
⮞ Negotiate contracts and trade terms in compliance with the expected times, methods and company policy
⮞ Build and maintain customer relationships by ensuring their long-term loyalty IN ORDER to achieve COMPANY goals
⮞ Develop new sales opportunities through up-selling and cross-selling strategies
⮞ Define and manage customers profitability updating sales policies and the product portfolio
⮞ In-depth knowledge of commercial strategy, purchasing policies and customer decision-making structure
⮞ Updated analysis of competitors policies
⮞ Competence and ability to interact and discuss with customers on issues relating to R&D and Regulatory Affairs concerning the market
⮞ Strong interaction with the R&D, Quality Systems, Operation Dept on behalf of customers’ needs related to the concerning development of tailor and custom made products and services.
⮞ Setting up, manage and control customer’s business plan
⮞ To submit regular reports for company management
